The Move For Youth Challenge 2022
The 2022 edition of the Move For Youth sports and solidarity challenge, for its employees around the world, is already over!
In total, 17,850 members of staff from 57 countries took part in the second Move For Youth event in support of the education and professional integration of young people. The photos shared by our teams around the world demonstrate the enthusiasm generated by this sporting and solidarity challenge, this year supported by the advice and encouragement of a team of coaches.
Together, we achieved our goal!
We covered 2 003 965 kilometers for the benefit of 50 charities working with young people around the world.
Thanks to this amazing commitment, together we have raised 2 million euros!
This sum is the proof of our collective efforts – raised thanks to donations from the Group, our international subsidiaries and entities in France, and completed by the generosity of staff in Asia-Pacific, the United States and Tunisia, where fundraising initiatives were organised.
The 50 benefitting associations will be supported in two ways:
- Firstly, we will directly finance grassroots projects organised by the charities, all of which work with young people at different stages in their lives.
- Secondly, we will set up and fund a specially made education-through-sports programme – Rugby For Youth – for the young people helped by these charities. This outstanding solidarity programme will take place in France in October 2023 alongside the Rugby World Cup, of which our Group is a Worldwide Partner. Thanks to your efforts, 200 young people from charities supported by the Move For Youth challenge will be invited to take part in an exciting educational experience using rugby to support their integration. We will share further information about this major programme shortly.
See you for the next Move For Youth event in 2023!
In the meantime, do not hesitate to answer the satisfaction questionnaire.
Thank you and congratulations to all!
